On Monday 23 December 2019, ELLIS saw the light. The project is funded by the BELSPO BRAIN-be 2.0 (2018-2023) program, and aims to develop policy-relevant tools to monitor and mitigate environmental health inequalities in Belgium. The project foresees funding for two PhD students – one in demography, focusing on socioeconomic deprivation and inequalities, and one in environmental sciences, focusing on environmental exposures and policy scenarios.
